Political gimmick
No doubt it is true that
Amitabh Bachchan, Big B, is a Bollywood superstar. In my opinion,
and many others (Greatest Star of the Millennium by BBC where he
beat Charlie Chaplin and Marlon Brando, Most powerful Indian star by
Forbes, Goodwill Ambassador for UNICEF), he is the best actor
Bollywood has ever produced so far and it's really nice to see him
reciting this anthem.
But beyond this
presenting of Big be as ‘Shahanshah’ and the ‘Great Hero’ is
apolitical gimmick ‘walk and talk’: “bik rahi hain siyasi
wafadariyaan; meri tehzeeb ka ab yeh miyaar hai” Amar wants to
climb Amitabh on the gram tree and Mulayam gives soft blessing to
make Jaya Bachchan a member of Rajya Sabha. They have given highest
award of UP to Amitabh and his son Abhishek. All these are being
executing for getting electoral benefit in the coming assembly
election of UP.
“Big B” would be
compelled to enter politics
As reported on Fan 25,
2007:Amitabh Bachchan would be compelled to enter politics “if he
(the actor) was pushed to the wall’’. Singh added that in the past
the Congress had taken Bachchan’s help to defeat H N Bahuguna in the
Allahabad parliamentary
polls. “The Samajwadi Party won’t stoop to the level of the Congress
and use Bachchan for partisan reasons. But if the Congress continues
to ill treat the actor then the latter will have no choice but join
politics,’’ said Singh.
Humor or Rumor or
Reality
There are hoardings in UP
in which Big B is shown on challenging tone as “Kismen kitnaa hai
dam”. Walk and talk was that Big B will be the star campaigner os SP
inUttar Pradesh directly or indirectly. The towering Amitabh
Bachchan’s mock anger at people too lazy to go to the polio booth
did more for the campaign than an entire army of health workers
could do. Like that Samajwadi Party thinks that SP will be return in
power again due to the campaigning of Big B in its favor.
IT Notice drama
In the past there was IT
Notice drama. SP cadres did violent protest in the front of the
Income Tax Office at
Lucknow. Ultimately Amitabh
Bachchan clarified that it was a routine legal act. But why did he
take months to clarify the same? It gives a bad name and negative
fame to him.
Drama in Dubai as
Shah rukh Khan takes on Amar Singh
Here I want to remind an
ugly event of a cinema awards function held in
Dubai. When Singh and
Amitabh Bachchan walked in, they were ushered to the 11th row.
Offended, both are said to have staged a virtual walkout — with
fisticuffs and a slanging match between producer and event manager
Karim Morani and Amar Singh taking place in public view. ‘‘I lost my
cool when Morani showed disregard for a person as great as Amitji.
Yes, there was a scuffle — in fact, Zee’s Subhash Chandra also
slapped Morani,’’ claims Singh.
Onlookers say Chandra
apologized to the duo and got seats placed right in front of the
stage. But tension lingered. Shah Rukh, known to be close to the
Moranis, reportedly intervened with Singh. ‘‘Shah Rukh was
patronizing and rude. When things heated up, he accused me of
goondagardi. I was furious and said, I am a goonda for those who are
disrespectful to Amitji,’’ said Singh. Did Amar Singh, SRK come to
blows?
What does
Bachchan give to the society and the nation?
It is reality that in his
35 years filmy career his acting as a common agry man make him a
great hero of the common men but he could not be come before the
people an ideal actor. His mostly acted film are as like don, kulee,
mawali and mere angne me tumhara…except few films like Inqulab and
Major Saheb.
It is also being said by
cine-critcs that upto 1970 the films were produced not only
entertainment but also for giving a message to the socieity. They
aslo gave the message of partiotism. But after the shining of Big B
the Bollywood was changed its face. After that films are produced
for entertaintment with sex and voilence. Though few are not
following this trend.
Every one from
Bachchan family now in Showbiz
Till now daughter Shweta
Bachchan Nanda was not present in the limelight but now she is going
to be the face for Next Gen on NDTV Profit. The show would feature
interviews with 12 young Indian leaders. And of course Abhishek,
mama Jay and family friend Amar Singh was present to support her on
the sets. But where was Mr Nanda…Who Knows Phiroze every one
remembers Iniara Gandhi.
Big B didn't want
wife to join politics
Rajya Sabha member Jaya
Bachchan said that her husband, Amitabh Bachchan, did not want her
to join politics. "My husband did not want me to join politics and
had expressed reservations when I received an invitation to join the
Samajwadi Party,"
Security
Controversy
When the controversy for
the level of security given to Amitabh BAchchan had irrupted from
out of blue, and before he knew about it, his younger-brother-like
Amarsingh had taken it to the streets.
As Sonia Gandhi
Amitabh is also from back door
Are Poiticians as Amar
Singh using Amitabh Bachchan’s name? Are he willing to be done it on
his behalf? If he himself is willing, then he should not remain so
closed. He should ome in open in public. Sniffing politics is not
bad. It is open for eery one in the democracy. Even from criminal
side Shabuddin, Sibu Soren to bollywood side Raj Babbar Hema have
come in the politics. But Big B should neither do himself from the
back door nor he should let the Amar Mulayam politicians to do it.
He should not do the roll
of Sonia Gandhi’s drama of renounce. She is Super PM and ruling from
the back door without accountability. She is going on the road show
“ If am I not then my son should be..”
Raja and Rank
Amitabh joined politics
at the insistence of Rajiv Gandhi. He was elected to the parliament
from
Allahabad. Those were the
days when he and Rajiv were chums. Ghost of Bofors came at that time
also as it comes now. This and other reasons had their toll on the
friendship and finally Amitabh fell out of the grace of Sonia
Gandhi. The reasons are too obscure.
Out of sheer frustration
Amitabh resigned from the Lok Sabha. And when pestered by some
corners, he thought it was worthwhile to join SP as its party
spokesperson happened to his friend.In
India it is better
to have some kind of political leverage and compromise for mutual
benefits. Now days who do without self interest?
Now, Rashtrapati
Bachchan Myth
Sparks from the different
parts of the country are pouring in with one sizzler of a news
stating that Amitabh Bachchan, the sparkling diamond of the Indian
Cinema, is likely to contest in the presidential elections this
year.
President Abdul Kalam
will vacate his office in July. Several political parties like the
Samajwadi Party, TDP and AIADMK have declared that they will support
Bachchan. If elected, Bachchan will become the 12th
President of the country. This is creating a ruckus on the political
and social front.
All the former presidents
have been senior statesmen of high repute from the fields of
politics, education or science and technology. There is still no
precedent of a president coming from the film industry. Though Big B
himself has been contradict this.
Honored with
Highest Civilian Award of
France
Bollywood legend Amitabh
Bachchan has been awarded by the highest civilian honor of
France which was
introduced by the Napoleon Bonaparte about two century ago. France
took decision to honour Amitabh Bachchan with the honour for his
contribution to Indian and international cultural life,.
