Justice
A.R. Lakshmanan,
the Supreme Court judge hearing
Mulayam Singh Yadav’s
review petition in the disproportionate assets case,
declined to hear the matter following an anonymous letter received
yesterday. Lakshmanan, while declining to reveal the contents of the
letter, said "I had been a judge for seventeen-and-a-half years in
various High Courts including five years in Supreme Court. I have
never received such a letter in my entire judicial career."
When senior
counsel Mukul Rohatgi sought details of the letter, the judge said
"the contents are heinous." Justice Altomas Kabir, who was sitting
along with Justice Lakshmanan said "to receive such a letter at a
time when my brother judge is due to retire shortly is shocking."
Justice
Lakshmanan choked with emotion and was virtually in tears. Myself,
my wife and family are very much disturbed. I don’t want to hear the
matter. Senior lawyers led by Soli Sorabjee, Ashok Desai, Additional
Solicitor General Gopal Subramanium and Mukul Rohatgi tried to
pacify Lakshmanan by telling him, "we have absolute and utmost faith
in this Court. If you withdraw from the case it will amount to
putting a premium on such letters. You should continue to hear the
matter and entire bar is behind you."
Lakshmanan,
however, said "I am not in a mood to hear the matter." He directed
that the review petition be placed before the Chief Justice of India
for posting it before another bench of which Justice Altomas Kabir
will be a member.
Although the identify of the letter-writer is masked, his intention
is obvious: to kick up a cloud of suspicion around the honourable
judge and force him to do his bidding or to force him out.
Fingers are being
raised on Mulayam Amar & Co.
Big B is not
spared due to his slogan of falsehood. This is the condition
prevailing in UP and still our superstar in his adv. campaign claims
"UP mein Dum hain, kyoki JURM yahan kam hai".
Through
Nishabd he has already sent a message to a son of IAS officer Sunil
to kidnap two minor student of his school by saying that one is as
his daughter and another is his girl friend for sexuality.
Yogi Adityanath,
MP from Gorakhpur, broke down in the Lok Sabha on March 12 alleging
"political conspiracy" against him by the Uttar Pradesh Government.
The MP, who
attended the House after spending 11 days in the Gorakhpur jail,
wept while narrating his experience at the hands of the State
Government, alleging that it was out to "malign and torment me."
When Mamta
Banerjee was on hunger strike on Singrur issue than spreading salt
on the wounds PM Manmohan reached Kolkata to say that Buddhadeb is
best CM of India. Buddhadeb agreed by saying, "We are not building
communism in West Bengal. Neither are we building socialism. We are
building capitalism Workers have been laid off, unviable public
sector units have either been closed or put up for divestment,
foreign firms come in and Unions go out.”
West Bengal
government killed farmers in Nandigram through armed police and
Leftists armed wing Naxalites make half century of killing policemen
in Chhattisgarh. But PM and her Supreme PM are in Kumbhkaranee
sleep. Union Home Minister with body language says it was the
subject of State Government and WB is doing better there. Another
Union Minister Munshi is demanding President Rule in the West
Bengal. For naxalites the policy of the UPA government is well
known. Naxal problem is also state subject. Union government has
nothing to do. Price rise is also a state subject so PM writes the
letters and he become free.
Left supported UPA and Mulayam are doing their best to destroy this
country, noble institutions in the name of democracy, secularism,
cast, religion, minority appeasement and what not.
What else you can expect from a prime minister of a country says
that inclusion of tainted politicians in the cabinet is the
compulsion of the alliance government.
In
this way declaring corrupt and murderers are essential to be in his
cabinet and in parliament to remain in power?
It
is right that Supreme Court judges are not god. Still people have
only one to whom they faith that is Supreme Court and if they break
down like this then we don;t know what will happen to India. Supreme
Court directed for adopting Common Civil Code. It defined in its
verdict that Hindu is a way of life of all Indians what ever their
panth may be. Recently Supreme Court directed for not freezing the
Quattrocchi’s A’c in London Bank but government went against it.
Supreme Court also wanted from the government clarification about
the inclusion of tainted ministers and giving religion basis and
without conducting the survey of OBC giving reservation but
government is mum.
It
is a fact that the politicians are wealthy after they become
politicians. List is very very long incluing lalu, Mulayam, Chautala,
Badal, Amrinder Singh and so on. In India only politicians,
burocrates, and big industrialists especially of SEZ are becoming
millionaires billionaires and the poor Indians are becoming poorer
and poorer only. In India only judiciary is less corrupt, so all
corrupts and enemy of the democracy such as left parties time to
time make attacks on Judiciary when the judgment goes against them.
As we see comrade Somnath Chatterjee every time busy in searching
the way to create controversy between judiciary with the other
pillar of the democracy.
Parliament and assemblies are making the laws and government being
an executive body executes the law. Judiciary only can say whether
the law is correct or not according to the constitution. If the
speaker, chief ministers and parliamentarians do not accept the
judiciary what one can say about this country! Sadhu Yadav was
attending not only the proceeding of Parliament but also wrestling
with the help of Lau Yadav with JDU MP Prabhunath Singh while non
bail able warrant was in the hand of Delhi police to arrest him.
Nothing happened.
There should not execution of the version of GB Shaw who said
"politics is the last resort of a scoundrel"
In the democracy every citizen is the king or badshah. But they
should not be Mir and Mirza: “The
chess continues even as the British troops march into the city until
they have a fight over the game. Mir, who has nearly shot Mirza and
is ashamed of his behavior, says, ‘We cannot even cope with our
wives, so how can we cope with the company's army?’”
