Newton's Infinite Series: We heard it in Malayalam first: A group of Malayali scholars had predated a ground-breaking Newton 'discovery' by over 250 years, according a research paper published on Monday.

The team of researchers from the Universities of Manchester and Exeter reveal that the 'Kerala School' identified the 'infinite series'- one of the basic components of calculus - in about 1350.

The discovery is currently - and wrongly - attributed in books to Sir Isaac Newton and Gottfried Leibnitz," says Dennis Almeida, one of the researchers and Teaching Fellow at the School of Education. The research team says that the Kerala School also discovered what amounted to the Pi series and used it to calculate Pi correct to 9, 10 and later 17 decimal places.

They injected the Schizophrenia in the mind of the most people with in and outside India. This is more dangerous than bio-bomb.

Schizophrenia is a mental illness in which the person suffers from distorted thinking, hallucinations, and a reduced ability to feel normal emotions.

Schizophrenia interferes with a person’s ability to think clearly, manage emotions, make decisions, and relate to others. Specific abnormalities that can be noted in individuals with schizophrenia include:

Delusions and hallucinations;

Alterations of the senses;

An inability to sort and interpret incoming sensations, and an inability therefore to respond appropriately;

An altered sense of self; and

Changes in emotions,

Movements and behavior

Schizophrenia is a neurological brain disorder.

People with schizophrenia may experience hallucinations. That is,they may hear, see, feel or smell things that are not there. Justas in a dream, where fantastic events cannot be distinguished fromreal events; hallucinations cannot be distinguished from realevents.

We may not be sure leaders of Congress and other parties and this Scyzophrenia affects their followers or not. They should take advice from the renouwned neurologists or other specialist doctors. For the same of the nation this is an urgent need of the nation.

Left’ Schizophrenia

If politics is nothing but a story of crowds and power, then the Indian Left’s recent successes are mind-boggling. Its mainstream variety, led by the CPI(M), has 62 members in the 14th Lok Sabha. This electoral feat, for the first time ever in 60 years of Independent India’s parliamentary history, is the least important of its achievements, though.

Much more vital perhaps is the kind of clout the mainstream Left has managed to buy from the Congress-led coalition government at the Centre in exchange for the life-giving support of those 62 MPs. On a less lawful note, the advances of the radical Left have been equally significant: more than 165 districts of the country are ‘affected’ by naxalite insurgency. Such historic left-wing advances, amid the cheery zeitgeist of the free market, are both ironical and shockingly counter-intuitive.

The Indian Left is trapped in the prison of, what Slovene philosopher Slavoj Zizek calls, parapolitics. Which means that politics is fine as long as it is confined within the framework of some predetermined morality; and is deemed undesirable the moment it seeks to question the so-called rules of the game. The pursuit of state power at all costs frames Indian mainstream politics in its entirety. As a result, an uncritical acceptance of reform-inspired socio-economic restructuring, even when it curbs the freedom and rationality of society and its members, has become di rigeur. And such political delegitimisation of dissent is as much the Left’s own doing as that of its neo-liberal ‘class enemies’.
