Who admires Tolerance of Hindus?
One of the monks, Brother Michael, said after Shambo was taken away: “The Welsh Assembly Government has committed the most violent and ignorant act of desecration of our temple and destroyed an innocent life.”
Ramesh Kallidai, of the Hindu Forum of Britain, said: “This act has caused great sorrow and grief to Hindus all round the world.”
How sad to see Shambo sent to slaughter without a blood test to determine conclusively that the bull had indeed contracted Bovine TB. Who admires the peaceful protest undertaken by the Hindu worshippers there? Would the authorities acted in the same way with a religious living symbol of other religion?
Bhagavad Gita and Lord Ganesha took care of Sunita William
"My father gave me a copy of the Bhagavad Gita and an idol of Lord Ganesha to take them along with me to space and they took care of me in the sky," Indian Origin Sunita Williams said through video conferencing from the Johnson Space Center in the US.
"My father is a Hindu and mother is a Catholic Christian. I am close to both religions. I have read the Gita earlier and Lord Ganesha was looking after me above," she said, interacting with Indian scientists, journalists and school students gathered at the four American Centres in New Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai and Kolkata.
Williams returned to earth June 23 after a 195-day space odyssey, the longest ever by a woman astronaut.
Sunita William vs Sonia Ambika
There is no comparison of Sunita Williams with so-called secular brand female leaders of India including Sonia Gandhi. Central Cultural Minister Ambika Soni said that there was no architectural proof of Ram Setu (Adam’s bridge). It means their misbelieve has importance against the proof given by NASA through the inset pictures and scientists of India. Media reports that in the instruction of Sonia Gandhi Christian Cross is on the new circulated coin of Rs 2/-. It is done to the map of India.
Alcohol abuse and faith on Ganesh Gita to overcome from the fear
Risk in flying of drunken astronauts and Sunita Williams are the same. All belongs to NASA. NASA allowed astronauts for taking alcohol to avoid fear in the flight. They had no faith or less faith in God but Sunita Williams was with Gita and Ganesh to overcome from the fear. The fear of God is supposed to be the beginning of religion
What is fear?
Fear , fearfulness: an emotion experienced in anticipation of some specific pain or danger (usually accompanied by a desire to flee or fight))
To be afraid or feel anxious or apprehensive about a possible or probable situation or event
Fear is an uneasiness of the mind, upon the thought of future evil likely to befall us. --Locke.
* FEAR: False Evidence Appearing Real
* FEAR: Fuck Everything And Run.
* FEAR: Face Everything And Recover.
Did alcohol take care of the astronauts?
NASA let astronauts fly drunk on at least two occasions, an independent panel said in a report released on July 27, 2007. Finally, an internal investigation has found that some astronauts were dangerously drunk during takeoff.
Drug alcoholic with in a world of materialism
They find alcohol abuse humorous (in a very strange sort of way) that their old self thought at the time of its chemical dependency that it was doing just fine. At the time of their addiction to chemicals they had not a clue that they were living their greatest fear day in and day out. Their chemical dependency had a strangling grip on whatever they did and whomever they came in contact with.
They did not come out from it. They had to face it head on. They had to face their greatest fear, which was their-self and the persons they had become; the persons, far from God; the persons, only cared for their-self; the persons those were controlled by stuffed feelings and alcoholic chemicals. They were wrapped in a world of materialism.
Why did Sunita’s father give her the statue of Ganesh
Belief on Ganesh makes you unafraid
Mushikavaahana modaka hastha,
Chaamara karna vilambitha sutra,
Vaamana rupa maheshwara putra,
Vighna vinaayaka paada namasthe
MEANING of above sloak: "O Lord Vinayaka! The remover of all obstacles, the son of Lord Shiva, with a form which is very short, with mouse as Thy vehicle, with sweet pudding in hand, with wide ears and long hanging trunk, I prostrate at Thy lotus-like Feet!"
We are terribly afraid of obstacles. There is no other fear in this world except obstacle. So, always we cry: "Remove the obstacles, clear the path, cleanse the road." On the fourth day (Ganesh Chaturthi) of the bright half of the lunar month of Bhadrapada (August-September) every year, Ganapati, is worshipped throughout India, perhaps in many other parts of the world also. The name of Ganpati occurs right in the beginning of the Rigveda itself, the earliest of scriptures, where pointedly the name is taken in a Mantra, "Gananam tva ganapatim havamahe..." The fear of God is supposed to be the beginning of religion. A person who has no fear of God has no religion also, because religion is respect for God. The fear of God goes together with the acceptance of the greatness of God and His Power. Wherever there is power, we are afraid of it. An ocean, a lion, an elephant are all-powerful things and we dread the very sight of them.
Why did Sunita William take Gita with her?
Geeta makes you fearless:
* The soul is neither born, nor does it die.
* You need not have any regrets for the past. You need not worry for the future. The present is going on...
* Whatever you took, you took from God. Whatever you gave, you gave to him. You came empty handed, you will leave empty handed.
* What is yours today, belonged to someone else yesterday, and will belong to someone else the day after tomorrow. You are mistakenly enjoying the thought that this is yours.
* Change is the law of the universe.
* What you think of, as death is indeed life.
* This body is not yours, neither are you of the body. The body is made of fire, water, air, earth and ether, and will disappear into these elements. But the soul is permanent - so who are you?
* Dedicate yourself towards Ganesh. Ganesh makes you fearless, brave, daring and bold.
The name Ganesh is derived from Gyan and Ishwar. Gyan is godly or divine knowledge and Ishwar is another name for God Shiva. So Ganesh comes from Gyanesh derived from Gyanishwar. This is to mean that the Supreme Soul Shiva had imparted the knowledge of the Gita to Ganesh, thus the reason Ganesh is said to be a "special son of Shiva", meaning a special spiritual child of Shiva. Ganesh therefore used the powers of Gyan and Yoga with great zeal and enthusiasm to impart the knowledge of the Gita.
The Bhagavata Purana says (X-84-2) that our holy teerthas (religious places) are not mere repositories of water, nor our Gods mere physical representations of mud and stone. They are manifestations of abstract faith, which is firm. Ganesh is our manifestation of cautious optimism, an expression of our resolve to strive, to seek, to find and not to yield; Ganesha Geeta is an inspiration to succeed.
