Chhattisgarh Government’s Transport Department has issued guidelines

Chhatttisgarh government has directed to open eateries and dhabas and truck repair shops set up at places identified outside the urban areas of the state and near the transport cities, as per the guidelines of the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India. In view of the prevention of corona virus infection and emergency situations, these instructions have been given in the public interest keeping in view the problem and the need for smooth transportation of essential and non-essential items within the state and food of the driver and operator of the cargo. Instructions have been issued by the State Government’s Transport Department to the Collectors, Superintendents of Police and all Regional and District Transport Officers for taking necessary initiatives and actions for repair of goods carriers (trucks) and opening of Dhaba shops within the prescribed minimum distance.
As per the guidelines issued by the Transport Department, the district / local administration should allow opening of the identified eatery-dhaba outside the urban areas or near the transport city. The marked eatery-dhaba should have only parcel-based facility for receiving food. No food will be allowed in the restaurant-dhaba, either by staying or sitting. According to the guidelines of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India, this arrangement is not applicable to the areas requiring prevention, quarantine and monitoring measures (hotspots) restricted by the state government / local administration to prevent the spread of Kovid-19. Be done. The norms of cleanliness and social distancing in the context of Kovid-19 should be strictly followed during movement of persons and vehicles.
