Don’t worry about losing PAN, Aadhaar card or passport, use DigiLocker

Must Read

DigiLocker is in the headlines these days because through it you can keep all your important documents safe. If you are driving and have forgotten your driving license and RC book at home in a hurry, then there is no need to worry because now the government has abolished the imperative of keeping a hard copy of it. If you are using DigiLocker then you will not have to worry about losing documents like PAN, Aadhaar Card and Passport.

If you have kept a copy of these documents in your Digital Locker (DigiLocker) then you will not have any problem, because now it will be validated. CBSE has also provided the facility to keep their students’ 10th and 12th marksheets in DigiLocker. To get a digital marksheet on DigiLocker, students have to visit the website Digilocker.gov.in. If students do not want to download it, they can log on it and download the marksheet.

Here’s how to create an account on DigiLocker:

To open an account at Digital Locker, go to digilocker.gov.in or digitallocker.gov.in. After this, click on Sign Up in the right side. After this, a new page will open, where you will have to enter your mobile number. DigiLocker will send an OTP to the mobile number you enter, which you will need to enter. After this set the user name and password. You can then use DigiLocker.

Here’s how to save a document:

Users can upload only documents up to 50MB in DigiLocker. First you have to scan those documents or you can click the photo of those documents. After this you can save them in DigiLocker. You can also write a short description of these documents
