Two days after the government announced Mission Karmyogi that will bring major changes in the way civil services officers will be skilled and trained across the country, Prime Minister Narendra Modi Friday interacted with IPS probationers through a video conference on Friday during the ‘Dikshant Parade Event’ at the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel National Police Academy in Hyderabad.

During the interaction, the Prime Minister while talking about the issue of terrorism in Jammu and Kashmir said, “We need to prevent youth from taking the wrong path at the early stage itself. Women police personnel can do that by involving women there.”

Praising the Police for their work during the Covid-19 pandemic, PM Modi said, “The human face of Khaki uniform has been engraved in the public memory due to the good work done by police especially during this COVID-19 pandemic. It is very important that you should be proud of your uniform instead of flexing power of your uniform. Never lose respect for your Khaki uniform.”
