Gold, silver prices fall, gold is cheaper by Rs 200

On Monday, the decline in the prices of gold and silver is seen on Tuesday. Gold for October delivery at 10 am on MCX is trading down by Rs 203 at Rs 50862 per 10 grams. It closed at Rs 51065 in the previous session and opened at Rs 50800 this morning.

Similarly, gold in December was trading down by Rs 124 to trade at Rs 51120. It closed at Rs 51244 in the previous session and opened at Rs 51023 this morning. Silver for December delivery fell by Rs 382 to trade at Rs 67889 per kg. It closed at Rs 68271 in the previous session and opened at Rs 67799 this morning.

On Monday, gold rose by Rs 258 to Rs 51,877 per 10 grams in Delhi bullion market. According to HDFC Securities, gold had closed at Rs 51,619 per 10 grams in the previous session. Silver also rose by Rs 837 to Rs 69,448 per kg, which was earlier quoted at Rs 68,611 per kg.
