Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel flagged off 15 vehicles for highway patrolling at his residence office here today. On this occasion, Chief Minister Mr. Baghel said that citizens will be able to get smooth, safe and uninterrupted traffic as well as immediate relief and assistance to road accident victims. He said that the government is committed to controlling accidents. The injured will soon be able to get help through highway patrolling vehicles by identifying accidental sites. Prompt help will save the lives of those injured in road accidents and will also reduce accidents. Chief Minister Mr. Baghel dispatched 15 highway petrol vehicles for ten districts Balodabazar, Dhamtari, Balod, Bemetra, Korea, Jashpur, Surajpur, Balrampur, Kanker and Kondagaon. 
On this occasion, Home Minister Shri Tamradhwaj Sahu, Director General of Police Shri DM Senior officers of the police department were present along with Awasthi, Director General of Police Jail Shri Sanjay Pillay, Special Director General of Police Shri RK Vij and Shri Ashok Juneja. On the highways of ten districts, 15 road blocks have been identified on the basis of black spots, whose length is about 25 kilometers. ASI, head constables, constables and drivers will be available on this route in three shifts for 24 hours. The highway patrolling team will reach the spot immediately after a road accident and will immediately send the accident victim from 108 vehicle or highway patrolling vehicle to the nearest government hospital. Along with this, immediate information will be given to the families of the victims of the accident. Bad, crashed, standing on the side of the highway by the team Illegal parking vehicles will be removed. The Superintendent of Police concerned will have full responsibility for the operation and control of highway patrolling.
