Deputy Director of Agriculture, Shri NL Pandey said that under the Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana, the remaining crops such as soyabean, groundnut, sesame, pigeonpea, moong, urad, kulthi, ramatil, kodo-kutki and ragi crops were sown except farmers producing rice, maize, sugarcane. Registration of the acreage sown by the farmers has started through the respective service cooperative societies. Such farmers fill their complete details in the registration form (Form-1) of the crops provided in the scheme and submit it to their respective service cooperative societies for verification and registration. He said that in the scheme, it will be compulsory to submit the complete records of the farmers along with the necessary records such as loan book Aadhaar card and photocopy of the bank passbook to the concerned primary cooperative society. Cooperative societies will have to make registration of farmers compulsory by November 30, 2020.
Deputy Director Agriculture said that the farmers will be verified by the Rural Agricultural Extension Officer of the area based on the data of the relevant weather Girdawari displayed in the Bhuiya portal. After verification, the farmer will have to register his land in the concerned codification committee. The government has decided to provide input assistance to farmers who have been registered in time frame for soyabean, groundnut, sesame, pigeon pea, urad, kulthi, ramtil, kodo-kutki and ragi crops. The input amount for these crops will be calculated proportionately based on the acreage maintained in the Bhuiya portal according to the Girdawari of the crops concerned. He informed that unregistered farmers will not be eligible for grant in aid under the scheme.
