Earlier they had to travel 10 to 15 kilometers to sell their hard-earned paddy and purchase edible seeds. Both time and money were spent in arranging a tractor cart etc. to take paddy to the procurement centers and purchase food seeds and bring them home. Now, with the introduction of these new Agricultural Credit Service Cooperative Societies, it has become very convenient for farmers to sell their paddy and purchase edible seeds. New Agricultural Credit Service Cooperative Societies include Village Dindori, Masni, Saket, Sochapur, Silatra, Nawagaon (Gh.), Hathnikala, Semarkona, Dhangaon, Rambod, Sawan, Raitrakala, Dasrangpur, Khutera, Khudia, Padiyyan, Kirana, Hinchhapur, Pathargarhi, Includes Bearkhandera, Geedha, Ghuma and Lagra. The state government has started 66 new Agricultural Credit Service Cooperative Societies to enable farmers to easily buy their crops at the centers to sell and purchase edible seeds.
