71 thousand 623 farmers of the district will get input subsidy amount of Rs 194 crores: In the first installment, Rs 52 crores 70 lakhs in the account of farmers

The farmer-friendly head of the state, Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel, has put a smile on the faces of the farmers even in the critical situation of the global epidemic corona. According to the promise, the first installment of Rs 52 crore 70 lakh to farmers of the district has been put through the DBT in the farmers’ accounts today with the value of input subsidy of Rs 9000 per acre under this scheme by the Chief Minister. With this, 71 thousand 623 farmers of Gariaband district will get a total of Rs 194 crore 11 lakh input subsidy. In the district, in the year 2020-21 Kharif season, 32 lakh 35 thousand 318 quintal paddy was purchased, with the value of Rs 9000 per acre, the first installment was transferred to the accounts of farmers of Rs 52 crore 70 lakh.
The Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana was launched last year by the Government of Chhattisgarh taking a far-reaching decision to encourage crop production in the state and to provide the farmers with the right price for their produce. The scheme was formally launched in the state through video conferencing on 21 May last year by Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel on the death anniversary of former Prime Minister of India Bharat Ratna late Shri Rajiv Gandhi. This year Member of Parliament Smt. Sonia Gandhi and Rajya Sabha Member Shri P.L. Punia has congratulated and congratulated the farmers of the state. On this occasion, a pledge was also taken to strongly oppose terrorism and violence.
Ministers of the state, including the Chief Minister, participated in the zodiac transfer program through video conferencing. On the other hand, District Panchayat President Smriti Neeraj Thakur from Gariaband District, Gariaband Municipality President Mr. Gaffar Memon, Collector Mr. Nileshkumar Kshirsagar, Superintendent of Police Mr. BR Patel, ADM Mr. JR. Chaurasia, Additional SP Mr. Sukhanandan Rathore, Deputy Collector Ankita Som, Nodal Officer Mr. Amit Chandrakar, Deputy Director Agriculture Mr. F.R. Kashyap was present in the video conferencing hall.
