249 Positive for
drugs abuse at Pune Rave Party
As many as 249
revelers among total 280, arrested in the rave bust near Pune during
the first week of March, have been found positive for the drugs in
their final medical report.
The percentage of
girls found to have been consumed drugs is almost 80 per cent
According to the
medical reports, the seven main organizers and the seven foreigners
including a German DJ Dakshinmurthy are also tested positive during
the medical tests.
There is
provision in the NDPS act 64 (a), youths having done drugs for the
first time can be let off after giving warning and sending to
rehabilitation center for a brief period. So, Pune rural police seem
to have taken a non-aggressive posture, saying there will be no
punitive action but only an attempt to rehabilitate them. Rural
Superintendent of Police Vishwas Nangre Patil said on Saturday: "I
was very disturbed after the arrests of the youth. They are my
brothers and sisters and have a career ahead of them. We don’t want
to ruin their careers and never saw them as criminals, but more as
victims."
We are planning
to conduct a police-parent -NGO meet to find out a comprehensive
solution to the whole issue. Even hospitals will be roped in to
carry out a comprehensive rehabilitation programme for them," Nangre
Patil said, who admitted that 86 per cent turning out positive for
drug abuse was big.
The police had
arrested 250 young boys and 30 girls including IT professionals, air
hostess, and students, from the farmhouse rave party at the
foothills of Sinhagad fort near Pune. About 2.5 kgs of ganja, charas,
seven bottles of phenyn fine hydrochloride (Californian drop), beer
tins, were seized from the party venue.
Most of the
revelers had come to attend the party from cities like Delhi,
Mumbai, Thane, Ahemadabad. These youngsters, mostly from well-to-do
families had to spend almost couple of days in the Yerwada central
prison following their arrest. The crackdown on rave party had send
shockwaves among the society as it was for the first time that such
large number youths were arrested in rave bust.
Caught in rave party, Goa Cong Minister gags police
As reported on
March 13, 2006: CNN-IBN got access to one such party at Congress MLA
Jitendra Deshprabhu’s residence.
All complaints by
locals to the police to intervene went futile, not because the
police couldn’t do much, but because they were just not allowed to.
Deshprabhu was
seen using his political position to prevent the police from
carrying out investigation.
A radio-taped
conversation, available with CNN-IBN, shows just how blatantly
police are influenced into inaction by those in power.
Why Congress
started his roadshow from Deoband
The
Taliban
The
Taliban are said to follow the teachings of the Deoband school,
although some scholars, like Ahmed Rashid, claim they follow a
simplistic version of the school's teachings.[1]
The
Tablighi Jamaat
Some
famous people who propagate Islam by joining the Tablighi Jamaat (a
movement started by a student of the Islamic University, Deoband,
Maulana Muhammad Ilyas Kandhalwi) are Pakistani cricketers Shahid
Afridi, Inzamam ul Haq, Mohammad Yousuf (a recent revert/convert),
Saqlain Mushtaq and many others. Also, former Pakistani cricketers
including Saeed Anwar and Salim Malik. A very famous pop star Junaid
Jamshaid is also a visible personality, propagating Islam to the
masses amongst many others.
Despite being on
the "most-wanted list," Nagori who was named with Badr as a
co-accused has managed to hoodwink the Delhi Police and central
agencies as well. Nagori was recently sighted at the Deoband
Seminary in Western Uttar Pradesh, where he interacted with Maulana
Fazlur Rehman. The Jamiat chief, who is believed to have fathered
many terrorist outfits, was in India on an invitation of the
Jamiat-e-Ulema-Hind.
According to
Safdar Nagori Osama bin Laden is “not a terrorist” but rather, an
“outstanding example of a true
Mujahid” who has
undertaken jihad on behalf of the entire community of believers, the
Umma. For Nagori
other inspiring personalities include Shaykh Ahmed Yassin of Hamas
and Masood Azhar of Jaish-e-Muhammad, the hardline Pakistani jihadi
group most known for beheading the Wall Street Journal reporter
Daniel Pearl.
SIMI’s expressed
goal is to convert India into Dar al-Islam by converting everyone
there to Islam, and the group has declared jihad against the secular
Indian state.
Congress Vs Rhul
Gandhi
Raising the pitch in the run-up to the UP
Assembly polls, Rahul Gandhi on March 19, said that had anyone from
the Gandhi family been active in 1992, the Babri Masjid demolition
would have never taken place.
“Since 1991, the Congress has not fought
elections in UP in a proper fashion. But this time we are going to
do that….Please remember that I am the grandson of Indira Gandhi,”
Is it means Congress party not secular, only
the Nehru-Gandhi family secular?
Is Gandhi a
reserve backward caste?
Is Gandhi dynaty
a reserve backward caste to rule India? Why do they not explain?
What is the political-chemical result of the mixture of Khan Gandhi
Pandit christinaity Italianty and so on? Is it means secularism and
globalization of PM (Hidden Super PM post)?
Why Rahul
helicopter jumped in IIT Kanpur
Party scion and
Amethi MP Rahul Gandhi's April 3-4 roadshow in Kanpur took an
unpleasant turn with the district administration serving showcause
notices for violation Section 144 (Prohibitory Orders) of the model
code of conduct by him.
No permission had
been sought for the roadshow on April 3, said Additional District
Magistrate (city) Ayub Khan on Saturday.
In addition,
Rahul’s helicopter landed at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT),
Kanpur, without seeking permission from authorities concerned, he
added.
