Daily Bhaskar reported on May 19, 2013: The office of the prime minister has written a confidential letter to director of Intelligence Bureau Syed Asif Ibrahim asking him to submit a report on relations between Commissioner of Delhi Police Neeraj Kumar and IPL chief Rajiv Shukla. This involves the investigations into the ongoing spot-fixing case involving S. Sreesanth:

Under world and Pak link sent jail to Sanjay Dutt, now involved in IPL 6 spot-fixing also

Congress policy is “be corrupt and get promotion”. This happened in the case of Shashi Tharoor also. Shashi Tharoor was forced to resign in 2010 as minister of state for external affairs after allegations of a conflict of interest in promoting an IPL team for Kochi which was linked to the woman he married after quitting office, Sunanda Pushkar.

In the same way Kalmadi also got promotion though he was accused in the corruption of 2010 Commonwealth Games.

Like that Shashi Tharoor also promoted and again took oath on Oct 28, 2012 as minister of state for Human Resource Development.

"After the alleged involvement of three cricketers in spot fixing, a strong lobby of cricket board has started exerting pressure on police to stop the investigations mid way," Aaj Tak investigations head Deepak Sharma writes on his Facebook page.

The matter has now reached 12 Tughlak Road and a Congress leader has apprised Rahul Gandhi about the spot-fixing incident. According to sources, a lobby of Congress wants PMO to initiate steps to take the case from Delhi Police and handover the investigations to CBI as further investigations into the case may involve some ministers also and Congress cannot afford to have another Kalmadi-like incident before the polls.

After the Sreesanth-Harbhajan controversy, old foes, former IPL commissioner Lalit Modi and Minister Shashi Tharoor revived their rivalry on Twitter, with the former harshly criticising the latter.

The architect of the IPL, Lalit Modi in reply to one of his follower’s tweets, called Tharoor “Thief.Caught. Resigned. But rehabilitated (sic).”

When a follower alerted Tharoor to Modi’s tweet, Tharoor sprang to action by tweeting, “Yes, I could sue LalitKModi but the disgraced fugitive from justice would have 2 have the courage to return to face the courts.”

This seemed to spur Modi and he posted several tweets against Tharoor, telling him not to hide behind government machinery. “Come and fight clean. Let’s see how clean you are,” he tweeted.

In a subsequent tweet, Modi claimed, “It was his threat to me that morning, of saying if I discussed Sunanda Pushkar issue, he will have me raided.”

Modi also challenged Tharoor to take him to court. “At least he can officially disclose all the agreements about what he was made to resign over.”

Modi posted another tweet pointing to the former’s resignation, “If we all get scared of crooked ministers like shashitharoor, we are doomed. We all know he was made to admit in Parliament. Rest is history.”

YSR Rajshekhar Reddy, father of Jag Mohan Reddy was not in jail because he was Congress CM of Andhra Pradesh but due to his corruption his son Jagmohan Reddy is in jail because he fights against Congress.

As pressure mounted to sack them, Andhra Pradesh ministers D Prasada Rao and P Sabitha Reddy, who have been charge-sheeted in the cases involving YSR Congress president Jaganmohan Reddy, today on May 20, 2013 said they stood by their resignations and intend to stay away from their posts.

Now YSR’s son Jag Mohan Reddy was in Jail on the charges of the corruption originated from YSR as said by CBI. Now some one ask question: Why are Gandhis not being made accused in the mysterious death of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose, Lal Bahadur Shastri and Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee? Public domain says that Nehru and Indira might be involved at that time

A leaked diplomatic cable dispatched by the US Consul General in Chennai in 2007 had nailed the then government headed by Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy in Andhra Pradesh for 'widespread corruption that was beyond the pale' even for India.

In the name of social programmes targeted at the common man, the YSR government had engaged in corruption 'beyond the norm for India', Wikileaks said, quoting the cable.

The YSR government’s 'flagship programmes' construction of irrigation projects and houses for weaker sections were beset with corruption even as Rajasekhara Reddy used the populist spending programmes to great political effect, the cablet said.

"There is consensus in Andhra Pradesh that irrigation and housing programmes are beset with corruption. On separate visits to Hyderabad, we heard allegations of widespread graft from several neutral observers.

An economist who studies the effectiveness of government programmes in the state said with only 'four to five companies executing the projects, there are many opportunities for graft in the irrigation programme',” the Consul General said in the cable.

"Typically, five to seven per cent is lost to corruption but in Reddy's irrigation programme, that figure is more like fifteen to twenty percent," he said.

Jagmohan Reddy, 40, was arrested in Hyderabad for alleged corruption. The CBI says that when his father, YSR Reddy, was chief minister of Andhra Pradesh, he pressured companies to invest in his son's vast business empire. In return, YSR allegedly gave those licenses and clearances necessary for their own companies. YSR died in a helicopter crash in September 2009.

Jag Mohan Reddy says the CBI investigation against him is punishment for him quitting the Congress in 2011 to launch the YSR Congress. In 2011, he declared assets worth Rs.365 crores.

TOI has reported: No other leader in the country as corrupt as Jagan. If there is anyone in the country who deserved to be hanged, it should be Jaganmohan Reddy," the minister observed. His comments invited the wrath of the YSRCP leadership all over the state.

Rajamohan Reddy is the son of former CM of Andhra but due to his revolt against the Congress he is being punished by the CBI. CBI probes alleged disproportionate wealth case on Y S Jaganmohan Reddy but CBI can’t do the same with Vadra.
