Emptiness rose up in that BPL that refused to be filled by the mindless distractions offered up on television. He is too much poor to have much, but he finds some whole gram and he takes them up to his bed in dream. He can be lull into near somnolence by the formulaic violence blaring from his TV set. He consoles himself with the knowledge that he is not alone. Like him, countless millions lives are been wasted by exposure to too many mindless distractions.  Our world is dying and we gorge ourselves on violence, sex and sweets.
