Social and Political Boycott should be of Vvips for their Pro-Rapist remarks

“Men also come to harm. Their pockets are also plcked …as women you are more vulnerable……..freedom always comes with responsibility……….you say you are free…..you have a responsibility to yourself….” Pro Rapist remarks of Neeraj Kumar, Delhi Police Commissioner. Should such Police Commissioner not be dismissed?

“ Do we roam in streets at midnight as we got independence at midnight? It would have been better, if the girld did not travel by a private bus at that time” Pro Rapist remarks of Botsa Satyanarayana, APCC President and Andhra Transport Minister. Should policical boycott not be of such Congress leader?

It is strange, Union Home Secretary R K Singh praised Delhi police for its ‘Outstanding investigation’on a day when Delhi High Court pulled up police for being ‘Envasive’ in its probe status.Who punish such irresponsible Union Home Secretary?

“Tomorrosw 100 adivasis will be killed in Chhattisgarh. Can the government go there? Today if we meet the students, tomorrow we may have to meet Maoists.” Pro Rapist remarks of Union Home Minister Shinde. There should be total political boycott of pro-rapist Union Home Minister

.

President Pranab Mukherjee’s son and Congress MP Abhijeet Mukherjeewho represents Jangipur constituency, which the President had vacated before his election, had described women protesting against the gang-rape as people from the fashionable set.

“Those who are coming in the name of students in the rallies, sundori, sundori mahila(beautiful women), highly dented and painted,” Mukherjee told a Bengali news channel. “Giving interviews in TV and showing off their children. I wonder whether they are students at all,” he said, adding, “what’s basically happening in Delhi is something like pink revolution, which has very little connection with ground realities.”

“It is fashion for a section of the community to hold protest marches just like visiting a discotheque. These sections do not have any connection with the people from the grassroots. They come decked up and painted,” he said while celebrating Christmas. “We were also students. This section doesn’t appear and behave like students,” Mukherjee said.

Abhijeet Mukherjee’s other pro rapist remarks:

“Walking in candlelight processions, going to discotheques, we have also led student life, we have been students. I well know what the character of a student should be.”

“Those who are coming in the name of students in the rallies, sundori, sundori mahila (beautiful women), are highly dented and painted,”

“what’s basically happening in Delhi is something like pink revolution, which has very little connection with ground realities.”

Pro-Rape Remarks of Congress MP and CPM leader

On Dec 26, 2012, CPM Leader former minister Anisur Rehman said at a public meeting in north Bengal, “I would like to ask Mamata what her rate for rape will be if someone gets Rs.20,000 after being raped.” Abhijeet Mukherjee a Congress MP from Wests Bengal followed CPM leader by giving sexist remarks against the female agitators.  On whose blessings are these anti-social leaders giving shame to West Bengal?

Pro rape remarks “I would like to ask Mamata what her rate for rape will be if someone gets Rs.20,000 after being raped.” of CPM Leader former minister Anisur Rehman was said when he was referring to the chief minister’s recent announcement of compensation for a rape victim.

The CPM was fierce in its criticism of his statement ‘Rate for rape’ and Mr Rehman has said he apologises unconditionally.

After that, another politician from Bengal, Abhijit Mukherjee, whose father is the president of the country Pranaab Mukherjee and whose sister is trained dancer Sharmistha, triggered a huge controversy when he said that the women participating in recent Delhi protests against the gang-rape of a medical student do not appear to be students but are “dented and painted”. Mr Mukherjee, who is a member of Parliament, first said he had been misquoted but later apologised.

What action CPM Party  is taking against its leader former minister for his pro-rape remarks? What action Congress Party and President Pranab Mukherjee are taking against Congress MP Abhijeet Mukherjee? ‘Should Forgive, forget approach’ of Political parties on these pro-rape remarks not be treated as the rape crime?

Congress MP Abhijeet should resign from parliament, apology is not sufficient

Instead of writing resignation letter why is Abhijeet Mukherjee fooling people? Is apology or withdrawing comment sufficient? Should Abhijeet Mukherjee being a son of president Pranab Mukherjee  not resign immediately from Parliament? Why does Congress suggests ‘Forgive, forget approach’ to incourage Congress MP Abhijeet Mukherjee? Why does Congress suggests ‘Forgive, forget approach’ to give increase in rape cases?

President’s son’s remarks: Congress suggests ‘forgive, forget’ approach. This type of approach is responsible for increasing rape cases.

As Abhijeet Mukherjee’s “insensitive” remarks sparked outrage with even his sister trained dancer Sharmistha expressing “utter shock and anguish” and apologising on his behalf, Abhijit “withdrew” his comments and said they were not meant to hurt “any particular section or any particular sentiment”.

Soon after Abhijit said, “I apologise to all the people whose sentiments who got hurt because of these sentences and these sentences are withdrawn” but the women activists and political leaders were unimpressed. Shall President Pranab Mukherjee, the father and sister trained dancer Sharmistha of Abhijeet Mukherjee be execused only by apologise? Shall  rapists apologise to all the people inluding the victim girl be sufficient for their execuse?

Should President Pranab Mukherjee and trained dancer Sharmistha instrust Abhijeet Mukherjee for giving resignation from Parliament?

“It is a shame. It is repugnant,” said writer-curator Ina “It is a shame. It is repugnant,” said writer-curator Ina Puri, adding that it is embarrassing to see how politicians like him are still insensitive to issues such as women’s freedom and safety.

Abhijeet Mukherjee’s sister trained dancer Sharmistha, a trained dancer, had earlier apologised on behalf of Abhijeet. “This statement does not reflect the values of our family,” she said. President Pranab Mukherjee’s daughter Sharmistha had expressed utter shock and anguish. “I really apologise to every women, man and every sensitive person in this country… I am utterly shocked and only thing I can say is that I really apologise on his behalf… I am quite surprised with what my brother said,” Abhijeet Mukherjee’s sister trained dancer Sharmistha said.

The 23-year-old Delhi gang rape victim now was flown to Singapore in an “extremely critical condition” and was admitted to the Mount Elizabeth Hospital, a multi-organ transplant specialty hospital. The gang rape victim, who remained on ventilator support during most part of her treatment in Safdarjung hospital in Delhi, was flown out on an air ambulance early on Thursday morning. A team of doctors of Safdarjung hospital and her family members accompanied her.

“The patient arrived at Mount Elizabeth Hospital’s Intensive Care Unit this morning in an extremely critical condition,” a spokesperson of the hospital has said. “The gang rape victim is being examined and the hospital is working with the Indian High Commission. We request that the privacy of the patient and family be respected,” the spokesperson added.Puri, adding that it is embarrassing to see how politicians like him are still insensitive to issues such as women’s freedom and safety.

Eastern Congo rape capital of the world but City of Joy new hope

For more than a decade, eastern Congo has become infamous as the “rape capital of the world” and the “worst place on earth to be a woman”. The UN has confirmed these facts. Half a million women, perhaps many more, have been raped since 1998, and in particularly brutal ways. And one response has been the building of City of Joy, a haven where survivors of gender violence who have healed physically (not always straightforward) live for six months and are educated. It is the product of a shared vision that the women don’t just need help, they need power. “Eve asked us what we wanted,” says Jeanne, the orator. “And we said: shelter, a roof, a place where we can be safe, a place where we can be powerful. That’s what we now have.” Jeanne, and women like her, hopes to change Congo for good.

The Democratic Republic of Congo is “the rape capital of the world”, a senior UN official has said. But City of Joy has  become the new hope for Congo women.

Margot Wallstrom, the UN’s special representative on sexual violence in conflict, urged the Security Council to punish the perpetrators in DR Congo.

Rape remained a dominant feature of the ongoing conflict in eastern DR Congo, with impunity being the rule rather than the exception, she said.

More than 8,000 women were raped during fighting in 2009, the UN says.

“Women have no rights, if those who violate their rights go unpunished,” Ms Wallstrom told the UN Security Council on her return from DR Congo.

“If women continue to suffer sexual violence, it is not because the law is inadequate to protect them, but because it is inadequately enforced,” she said.

The UN mission in DR Congo, Monuc, has been trying to deal with the problem by escorting women on their way to market, developing early warning systems and working with local officials, according to a UN statement.

In April, research on sexual violence in DR Congo’s eastern South Kivu province produced shocking findings.

The report by the Harvard Humanitarian Initiative showed that 60% of rape victims in South Kivu were gang raped by armed men, more than half of the assaults took place in the victims’ homes and an increasing number of attacks were being carried out by civilians. Eastern DR Congo is still plagued by army and militia violence despite the end of the country’s five-year war in 2003.Monuc troops have been backing efforts to defeat rebels linked to the 1994 genocide in Rwanda, who are operating in eastern DR Congo.

Rape is a feature of war, and is often seen as inevitability – the Second World War general George Patton wrote that “there would unquestionably be some raping”. But it is more widespread and more violent in some wars than others. According to Joanna Bourke, author of Rape: A History, its prevalence depends on how violent a society is already; the disparities between men and women in the culture; whether soldiers fear any kind of punishment for rape; and the extent to which the values that enable mass rape are shared by men on each side of the conflict. On every count, Congo rates disastrously. And there’s also a particular problem, what Jean-Claude Kibala, the deputy governor of South Kivu, describes as a “bomb in the middle of society”: former child soldiers. “Nobody has a program for how to deal with them,” he says.

City of Joy

Katharine Viner reports: Jeanne is 27, with a round face that makes her look younger, but she struggles on to the stage. She finds walking difficult, ever since she was tied to a tree and gang raped for many weeks, had surgery to repair the damage, went home and was raped again. She became pregnant during one of the attacks and was forced to give birth in the company of the militias; the baby died. Jeanne finally escaped to the Panzi hospital inBukavu, at the eastern edge of the Democratic Republic of the Congo. She has had repeated operations on her desecrated lower body. She looks small, shy, defeated.

But then this woman, a victim of the biggest horror story of modern times, in one of Africa‘s largest countries, steps up to the microphone and starts to speak.

“When you look at me, what do you see?” she asks, with the bold delivery of the born orator, the preacher, the leader. “Do you see me as an animal? Because you are letting animals treat me like one. You, the government, if it was your children, would you stop it? You, you white people: if this violence was happening in your country, would you end it?” She speaks with the kind of fury and focus rarely seen in western politics. Hundreds of other survivors of sexual violence in the audience cheer wildly.

Jeanne (who has requested her last name be withheld for her protection) is not the only speaker here at the opening of City of Joy, a centre for survivors of rape in Bukavu.

Sadhvi Pragya Bharti’s early life is a model of women self defense

Sadhvi Pragya Singh Thakur’s early life is an example of self defense against the physical attack.

Pragya was said to have been a tomboy since her childhood, keeping short hair, and dressing like a boy. She was often called ‘the girl with boyish looks’. She loved riding bikes. It was a motorcycle registered on her name which led to her arrest in connection with the Malegaon blasts. She and her sister once beat up a group of boys so severely that they were pleading for mercy. This group of boys was tried to give Pragya and her sister physical harassment.

Sadhvi Pragya Singh Thakur is an Indian woman who has become the victim of vote bank politics. She is now in jail.

Pragya Singh was born to Dr. Chandrapal Singh Thakur, a long-time Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh worker and believer in its core ideology of “Hindu rashtra”. According to her father, Pragya was a tough girl since her childhood and that she fought against “injustice” and “anti-social” activities.

Pragya Thakur is a prime accused in the Malegaon bomb blast that took place on September 29, 2008, in which six persons were killed and several injured. She is also, the prime accused in RSS pracharak Sunil Joshi murder case.

Senior BJP leader and former chief minister Uma Bharti met Sadhvi Pragya Singh Thakur in Dec 13, 2012. Sadhvi Pragya Singh Thakur is prime accused in the 2008 Malegaon bomb blast case at the Central Jail here on Friday and inquired about her health.

Pragya Thakur has been undergoing treatment at a local hospital for suspected cancer for the past few months. After meeting her, Bharti said that she has not been able to overcome the impact of mental and physical torture inflicted by anti-terrorism squad (ATS), Maharshtra.

“Her health had deteriorated badly, now she cannot move on her own. Doctors suspect that she is suffering from cancer. I am praying that her innocence would be proved in the court,” Bharti told reporters after meeting her in the jail. She was allowed to meet Pragya for a few minutes at office of the jail superintendent.

Bharti had been extending support to Pragya Bharti for long claiming that she was implicated as part of a well-thought out conspiracy to defame Hindutva forces. Pragya had been a disciple of Maharaj Avdeshanand and there was no way in which she could be part of any violent activity, she added.

In 2009, Uma Bharti had declared that will start a Jan Jagruti agitation to fight the injustice done on Pragya. And in 2010, the firebrand leader visited Pragya while she was being treated for spinal problems at Ayurveda Seva Sangh Hospital in Nashik.

School shooting and Gang rape in moving bus

School shooter executes shooting without keeping knowledge what he is doing. Adam Lanza shot his mother before driving to Sandy Hook Elementary School of New Town’s America where he killed 26 people, including 20 children and after that Adam lanza also shot him. The same happened in other school shooting cases in America, mostly shooters shot themselves. But opposite to this rapist leaves victims to live shameful life. Rapist rapes knowingly with conscious but opposite to this. Hang me, rapist of Delhi girl in moving bus.

Recently re-elected President of United States Obama said the world would judge the nation by the way it cared for its children, and that Dec 14’s slaughter in Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown of United States ‘School Shooting’ executed by 18 year old Adam Lanza left that judgment wanting.

India can be judged how we respect the women. If we turn the pages of Indian history then we finds that India gave greater respect to women than the men. We call younger women as sisters and elder women as mother.

But how can we hide that cruel attack on women is not only continue but there is tremendous increase in these incidents. Even Political Capital of India Delhi is being mentioned in Media as Rape capital. Who makes political capital Delhi into rape capital? We should do some thing to train women for self defense.

Is this not shame for Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dixit and UPA head Sonia Gandhi who live in the political capital of India. Sonia Gandhi ran to Haryana when rape case occurred in Haryana to remove the attention of the people on DLF-Vadra Scandal in which Haryana Chief Minister ‘relatives also involved. DLF Vadra scanda was being highlighted in the media at that time. DLF Vadra scandal is first disclosed by Arvind Kejriwal and Ashiok Khemka. In fact  DLF-Vadra has made India a Kleptocracy

After School shooting at Newtown of America there is a gun debate start there: Armed Classes: Carrying guns to counter gun violence? Here in India there is also awakening news reporting is coming after the happening of gang rape in the Delhi bus. Generally we see that we awake when rape incident happens but after that we forget as we forget political corruption of politicians such as Bofors and Dlf-Vadra scandal and the name of National Herald so called fraud is done by Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi. Actually we are a nation which has no memory.  DLF-Vadra has made India a Kleptocracy

Delhi rape a ‘heinous crime’ says PM. PM should do some thing for decreasing this type of incidents in future.

Delhi rape suspect tells court he is guilty, wants to be hung. People demand in increase: Rapists who –Raped in Moving Bus, should face death sentence.

Gang rape on New Delhi bus sparks protests across India.

There should be awakening on these points: women Indian hard self defense •self defense •self defense techniques for girls •karate girl self-defense •women self defense kick India •women self defense stories •women defense •should girls keep acid for self defense •self defense women •women’s self defense

Technique: Self defense against cruel attack on women

Cruel attack on women in India is in increase: Even Delhi High Court slams cops for lapses to curb rape cases in Delhi which has become rape capital.  Not only in Delhi but all over India, there is increase in the rape incidents. In a country like India, where a girl is assailed every hour, there is an incomparable exigency of girl’s sovereignty in terms of Self-defense. Self defense is a remedy that involves defending oneself from the outrage. The use of self-defense is legal vindication in times of danger is available in many jurisdictions, but the interpretation varies broadly.

Most forms of attack in India are rape, sexual abuse, kidnapping, murder and molestation. Acid attack has also become a part of it. Despite the plethora of rules in India, the number of cases of women attack is increasing rapidly. As you know a girl is molested every hour in India. In 2011, out of 500 cases of murders, 25% were women. Eve-teasing is an erroneous problem, women face regularly in India, even at public places. It is another form of molestation with women.

Martial Art or other Self defense technique learning and adopting by women and giving for this by government and non-government authorities such as NGO and social organization is necessary. Women should be always fortified for such attacks. They should apprentice self-defense and some related modus operandi for making them fortified for any situation. A woman is as strong as a man, it’s just the need to learn some ideas to shield her from life threatening attacks.  The first thing a girl should lucubrate to be fastidious in every happenstance for example, in the forlorn situation at home during an attack she should run to kitchen and find spice and knives to make up a sovereign weapon. A girl should always read registration number of auto-rikshaws and taxis especially if they are travelling alone in night. This is the primary remedies but women need more affirmed techniques like karate, kick-boxing. There are many institutions in India who teach women the subject “Self-defense”.  Studies have shown that men are less enthralled to attack those women who fight more. Women should not feel like the martyr and she should be like a hero and fight back. It is equivalent to the actuality that men are never raped by homoerotic men because they know that a hard punch would be coming back on them soon.

The self-defense can even emancipate the women from domestic violence. It makes her independent in many ways. It helps her in redeeming self-esteem and dignity. There is an imperativeness of awareness for women, and just because of this urgency, many organizations like Smile foundation, Black noise, Gulabi gang, etc are working on it. They are creating enlightenment programs by using social awareness sites and roads events to increase insight about street violence.

Every girl should start pursuing self-defense. This might salvage her life some day.

Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) bids to train girls in self defense are appreciable. Other Municipal Corporation should adopt the policy to train girls in self defense as Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) is doing.

In keeping with the Maharashtra State home department’s instructions that came in three amonhs ago to provide training to women in self-defense, the Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) has gone ahead with the procedure to provide the self defense training to 1000 college going women. Even as civic body wais for response, martial arts 0065perts say it’s all about the girls’s presence of mind and reaction speed. Basic fitness is a must, they say:

* Never attack half heartedly as you never get other chances.

* Attack should be accruable, so practice daily.

* You should always be alert.
