JFR Jacob, a Jew and Gen. Candeth, a Christian were members of the Hindu Nationalist BJP's National Executive committee. Mr. Sikandar Bakth, a Muslim too was a top official in BJP. Former President Mr. Narayanan is a dalit (lower caste) if not Christian.
Narayanan showered plenty of praise for Urdu and described it as "the depository of the composite culture of India". In a desperate attempt to show their love for "secularism", even take great pains to pay tributes to the barbaric Muslim invaders of India. HRD Minister Arjun Sinh follows fully to Narayanan.
