I read, Leader of the BJP in the Rajya Sabha Arun Jaitely entered politics via Akhil Bhartiya Vidhyarthi Parishad (ABVP). Then I recall my student life of 45 years back when Ved Prakash Nanda was the president of ABVP. Later on Mr. Nanda settled in Chicago of US.
Now Chicago touches my heart and I am able to hear the speech of Swami Vivekanand which he gave in Chicago. Does BJP want to file an affidvit of Non-Hindu to follow Ramkrishna Mission?

A day after senior BJP leader L K Advani spoke of an "inclusive Hindutva", RSS Sarsanghchalak Mohan Bhagwat on June 23 said Hindutva believes in peaceful co-existence of all communities. He said political party can have a compulsion from the political point of view to rethink on the ideology of Hindutva but RSS does not have such compulsion.

What was the compulsion of Ramakrishna Mission for going to Court in the 1980/81?
The Ramakrishna Mission went to the Calcutta High Court in the 1980/81 in order to have their organization and movement declared as a non-Hindu minority religion. They sought to gain in this way the same privileges that are accorded only to the minority religions.

Hindutva is not the property of any individual. BJP lost because of Secularism and not Varun or Hindutva: Modiji must be President with young Varun new GS of BJP! Mananiya Shri Premendra ji, premendra@newsanalysisindia.com: As a layman of Hindu following, may I seek information if it is possible for the various Hindu Leaders [political, religious, social reformers and any other student of this Civilisation] to Draft a New Order on the daily Conduct of the Hindues [as the 16 Saunskars from ancient times have been followed more by ignoring it] as done by Adi Shankaracharya some 1200 yrs back for Revival of Hindu Ekata. Dear Premendra ji, Namaskar. Thank you for this email on SC's definition of Hindutva. I wish to clarify on the following: I was under the same impression as you regarding the Ramakrishna Mission seeking minority status. The Left govt. came to power in 1977 and started squizzing Hindu organisations including their educational institutions. The Communist goons killed Ananda Murtiji, head of Ananda Marga and no action was taken against the culprits. In that atmosphere of uncertainty, RK Mission was compelled to take that humiliating step just to survive. And the obliging secular press did not bring out this truth. 2. I have an explanation why the present Cong. leadership insists on the caste and religious details. In the late 1990s, when it became to replace Sri J.B.Patnaik as Orissa CM, Sri Giridhar Gamang was chosen thinking that being a tribal may also be Christian. It turned out that he was a Hindu. So to eliminate such contingencies, this practice has been introduced. 4. Please continue your struggle to get the caste and religion details of Ambika Soni, Sonia, Rahul and Priyanka Vadra via RTI Act. S.C.Panda, Bhubaneswar
