Samsung launches Thunderbolt 3-supported storage device

Samsung has launched Thunderbolt 3-supported storage device in the Indian market. The company has created this product mainly by keeping in mind the portable storage solution of IT professionals and content creators. X5 SSD has been launched in three different storage variants and its price has started from Rs. 27,999. The price of 1TB variants is Rs. 48,999 and the value of 2TB variants is Rs. 97,999. Samsung is also offering X5 SSD with limited warranty of three years. Although the Samsung X5 SSD will only work with devices that have Thunderbolt 3 port.

X5 SSD has been designed in such a manner that it will be useful for transferring large multimedia ultra-fast transfers and data files. The SSD X5 provides 40 GB / second bandwidth and the company claims that it is four times faster than the USB 3.1 standard. By using this, users can transfer about 20 GB files in 12 seconds.
