DIG submits report on police welfare

Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG) Neha Champavat led committee constituted to look into the issue of welfare and problems of police personnel submitted its report to Director General of Police (DGP) D M Awasthi at police headquarters on Wednesday.

The committee had obtained the suggestions and comments from all district Armed Force units, training schools and other state units including holding direct discussion with all the unit representatives. All the comments and suggestions were then compiled to prepare the draft report.

Based on it, the committee made the recommendations and handed it over to the DGP. The other committee members DIG Sanjeev Shukla, SP Kabirdham Lal Umed Singh, SP SIB D Ravishankar and ASP U. B. S. Chouhan were present.
