In most parts of India, the minimum temperature can remain 2-6 degrees Celsius below normal. The IMD was told that the cold wave continues in the national capital due to the icy winds blowing from the snow-covered Western Himalayan region.

An IMD official said, “The temperature at Safdarjung Observatory was 3.9 degrees Celsius, four degrees below normal.
