Camp organized in Tehsil campus for e-EPIC card awareness

Electronic voter photo identity card e-EPIC has been launched by the Election Commission of India, New Delhi on the occasion of 11th National Voters Day on 25 January 2021 across the country. As of February 2021, as per special brief revision program 01 January 2021, e-EPIC download facility has been provided to the new voters. The commission will also provide e-EPIC download to common voters. District Local Election Surajpur organized an awareness camp for the download of e-EPIC card at Tehsil office Surajpur, informing new voters and general voters that information was given to download the EPIC card. The camp was attended by Umeesh Singh Dimension, Sujimon Panikar, Pramod Tirkey, Mr. Mahendra Shandilya, Mahesh Khes and other employees.
District Sub-Election Officer Mr. Waheedurarrahman said that e-EPIC is a portal document format version, which can be verified using authentic and secure QR code reader application. It can be downloaded, printed and laminated on mobile or in a self-printable form on a computer, and can be stored on mobile, mail or digital platforms such as Digilakar.
To download the e-EPIC card, download the Voter Helpline app from Play Store or visit https://voterportal.eci.gov.in or https://nvsp.in. After this, click on Register / login and download the e-EPIC. Enter voter ID number or EPIC number or reference number. OTP will come on the registered number from which mobile verification can be done and you can download e-EPIC.
