Adolescent girls and women are being made aware of cleanliness in Gram Panchayats

Door-to-door garbage is being collected by women of self-help groups to encourage the people of the village towards cleanliness in Jashpur district, along with 15 self-help groups for better health of women and adolescent management. An amount of one lakh rupees has been given to women.
Under the guidance of Collector Shri Mahadev Kanvera and under the direction of Chief Executive Officer of District Panchayat Shri KS Mandvi, a meaningful effort is being made to make women aware of cleanliness. For the convenience of teenager girls and women, incinerator bending machines have also been installed in 200 gram panchayats at a cost of Rs. 50 thousand. Gram Panchayat Boki of Jashpur Development Block has been awarded Single Use Plastic Free Panchayat and State Sanitation Award in the year 2020. Similarly Duldula has been ranked second in the state for excellent segregation shed.
