Collector Shri P.S. ELMA took a meeting of the revenue officers today and directed them to discharge their departmental responsibilities honestly and with transparency. While reviewing the revenue divisional wise of the field officers of the department, he instructed the revenue inspectors and patwaris to execute the problems and responsibilities related to the general public on priority while improving the working style at the lower level. In a meeting held in the Collectorate’s meeting room from 10 am today, the Collector inquired about the progress of the Revenue Inspector Divisional wise and directed to depute the Patwaris of the nearest light in the circles where Patwaris are not posted. At the same time, listening to the problems of the general public seriously, the Collector directed to make concerted efforts for their proper solution. During this, the Collector instructed all the Revenue Inspectors to be present in their subordinate circles for one day in a week and make meaningful efforts to resolve the pending cases. Apart from this, to get rid of various types of revenue cases, asked to get continuous guidance from higher officials. During this, the Collector said that as per the instructions of the government, a comprehensive action plan has been prepared for making caste certificates of students in the district, under which such students enrolled in high and higher secondary schools, whose certificates have not yet been made, their class wise. After receiving the data, the list of students studying in middle schools will be prepared and provided by the headmaster to the concerned patwaris by preparing all the necessary documents. If there is a shortage of any kind of document like misal record, genealogy, then the concerned Patwari will prepare it at his level immediately and make it available to the headmaster of the school. He said that if any document related to the land is not available with the parents, then by organizing a Gram Sabha, evidence will be collected in this regard. The RI of the concerned division will be the nodal officer to coordinate on behalf of the revenue department in relation to making the certificate. He directed to complete this work at the earliest. Apart from this, the collector took information about the progress of works related to land acquisition, diversion, disputed and undisputed division, nomination, B-one, online entry etc. In the meeting, Additional Collector Shri Chandrakant Kaushik, while reviewing various revenue cases tehsil wise, gave instructions to all the revenue officers to dispose of the pending cases expeditiously.
