Hemant Sharma, Indore. A case of fraud of Rs 27 lakh has been reported from a teacher through the metromonial website Jeevasathi.com (Jeevansathi.com). It was told that he took an excuse to get injured in the war of Ukraine. At present, Indore Crime Branch has registered a case of cheating against unknown youth on the complaint of the teacher.
The teacher told the Crime Branch that she was friends with a young man on spouse.com. Who described himself as an army man. Initially there was a conversation between the two and gradually the young man won the teacher’s trust. The young man described himself as an army soldier and said that he was serving the country. He spoke emotionally to the teacher several times, which further increased the trust of the teacher on her.

The conversation between the two continued for about a year. During this, the young man demanded money from the teacher several times. Sometimes he made an excuse for illness and sometimes cited other personal reasons. The teacher gave money from him to help the young man and also borrowed some money and sent him. Gradually, this amount increased to 27 lakh rupees. The young man transferred this amount to his accounts in about 60 times from the teacher. He even asked for money for treatment by pretending to be injured in Ukraine War.
When called to meet, he said to be ill
When the teacher asked to meet the young man, he started making excuses. At first he made an excuse to get sick and then told the story of being injured in Ukraine war. When the teacher was suspicious, she lodged a complaint with the crime branch. Initial investigation by the Crime Branch found that the profiles used by the youth and some servers of the website are being operated from Delhi and Uttar Pradesh.

The police have started a technical investigation to find the identity of the accused and to find out his hideout. Indore Crime Branch Additional DCP Rajesh Dandotia says that a case of fraud has been registered on the woman’s complaint and the police is investigating the case with full seriously.
