Shivam Mishra, Raipur. A big fraud case has come to light from Samata Colony Sector-1 in the capital. Here a builder was cheated by handing a fake check in a house deal worth Rs 95 lakh. In this deal three months ago, the buyers got the registry of the house registered, but the checks given for the payment were fake on depositing it in the bank. Now the victim builder has lodged a complaint against both the accused at the police station.
According to the information, Prakash Chand Jaiswal, resident of Samata Colony Sector-1 (59 years) is a builder developer by profession. On 10 January 2025, he sold Shanti Inclave, a house Bunty Rastogi and Mohnish Srivastava for Rs 95 lakh. At the time of the deal, both buyers claimed to be done through the payment check.
But when Prakash Chand deposited the check in the bank, the bank called it fake. Hurt by this fraud, Prakash Chand finally filed a report under sections 418, 420 and 34 of the IPC against both the accused at DD Nagar police station.
In this case, DD Nagar police station in -charge SN Singh said that the builder developer has been cheated. Prakash Chand Jaiswal, a resident of Samata Colony, has been given a fake check of Rs 95 lakh by purchasing a house. A case is being registered on the whole matter and investigation is being done.
