Social worker Anna Hazare says that if his demands of the farmers were not met in time, he would protest in New Delhi in January 2021. In a press release issued in his native village Ralegan Siddhi adjoining Ahmednagar district, the anti-corruption crusade said that they have decided to resume their protest in Delhi from next month and inform the center about their movement . The release did not provide a date for the start of the movement.
“Hazare said. Hazare said, “I have once again decided to resume the protest which has been going on in Delhi for the last three years. “Take concrete decisions or I am firm on my decision (to resume protest),” he said. On Sunday, Hazare threatened that he would go on a hunger strike if his demands were not met by the central government, saying it would be his “final protest”. While speaking to reporters in Ralegan Siddhi, Hazare pulled up the central government. “The government is only giving empty promises because of which I have no confidence left (in the government) … Let’s see, what action the Center takes on my demands.” He said, “They have asked for a month’s time, so I have given them time till the end of January.” If my demands are not met, I will resume my Hooghly strike protest.
