Former Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav narrowly avoided injury in a road accident on Saturday morning. A speeding truck collided with two vehicles in his convoy near Goraul in Vaishali district. The incident occurred on the Patna-Muzaffarpur highway while Yadav was returning to Patna from a political rally in Madhepura. The convoy had stopped for a tea break when the truck crashed into the parked security vehicles. Yadav, who was a short distance away at the time, was unharmed. Three security personnel were injured in the crash and were immediately taken to a local hospital. The truck driver was apprehended by local police and is currently in custody. Authorities are investigating the cause of the accident, with initial reports suggesting potential speeding or driver fatigue. The incident has raised concerns about the safety of political figures traveling on Bihar roads, particularly at night. Yadav, who is known for his active political schedule, has reassured his supporters of his safety.
