In the capital city of Jharkhand, Ranchi, a disturbing incident unfolded as traffic police personnel were attacked and assaulted. The incident occurred in broad daylight at the Kathal Mor area of Nagri police station. A video of the assault, captured by a bystander, has gone viral on social media. The footage depicts auto rickshaw drivers relentlessly attacking the traffic police officers. According to initial reports, three to four auto drivers were involved in the assault, reportedly using stones to attack the officers. One officer, identified as Rohit Ganjhu, sustained serious head injuries and was rushed to the Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS) hospital in Ranchi for treatment. The attackers fled the scene, and the police have initiated a search operation to apprehend them. The Traffic SP of Ranchi has assured that strict action will be taken against those responsible. The Nagri police station in-charge is currently investigating the matter. The viral video shows the auto drivers aggressively assaulting the traffic police officers, who are seen retaliating with batons. In the video, after the police officers use batons, the auto drivers are seen hitting one officer with a stone, causing him to fall.
