The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) announced a one-day delay in the launch of the Axiom-4 mission due to unfavorable weather conditions. The mission, which was initially scheduled for June 10, 2025, has been postponed to June 11, 2025. This mission will carry Indian astronaut Shubhanshu Shukla to the International Space Station (ISS), marking his journey as the second Indian national to venture into space since 1984. The targeted launch time on June 11 is 5:30 PM IST. Dr. Jitendra Singh, Union Minister, also confirmed the rescheduling, citing adverse weather. The mission is a collaboration with NASA, with Shukla being part of Axiom Space’s fourth private astronaut mission (Ax-4).
