A disturbing incident unfolded in Ranchi, the capital of Jharkhand, where traffic police officers were brutally attacked. The assault took place in broad daylight at the Kathal Mod area of the Nagri police station jurisdiction. A video of the incident, capturing the assault, has gone viral on social media. The attackers, reportedly three or four auto-rickshaw drivers, used stones to attack the officers. One officer, identified as Rohit Ganjhu, sustained serious head injuries and is currently admitted to the RIMS hospital in Ranchi for treatment. Authorities have initiated a search to apprehend the culprits involved in the violent attack on the traffic police.
