Karnataka’s Home Minister, G. Parameshwara, expressed his lack of knowledge regarding the purpose of Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and Deputy Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar’s visit to Delhi on Tuesday. He speculated that the leaders might be in the capital to brief the party’s high command about the recent stampede incident. Parameshwara stated that he was not informed about the trip and would attend if summoned by the party leadership. Sources suggest the agenda includes discussions on the stampede and the ongoing caste census. It is anticipated that they will meet with Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge and Lok Sabha Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi at Indira Bhawan.
