A tragic incident in Jharkhand’s Palamu district resulted in the death of a father and son. The pair entered a well to retrieve a ‘lota,’ a type of water vessel. The son initially went down, followed by his father when the son did not return. Both died due to suffocation inside the well. The local police and administration, upon receiving the information, worked to recover the bodies. The incident occurred in the Sahiyara village of the Hussainabad police station area. The father, Jagat Rajwar (60), and his son, Munna Rajwar (32), were the victims. The police are investigating the cause of death, suspecting low oxygen levels in the well. The bodies were sent for a post-mortem examination. The family is in deep mourning.
