The upcoming Nothing Phone 3 is slated for a July 1, 2025 release in India, coinciding with the launch of the company’s first over-ear headphones, Headphone 1. While the launch date is set, Nothing has yet to officially confirm the inclusion of the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset. CEO Carl Pei has hinted at substantial performance upgrades compared to the Phone (2), including significant improvements in CPU, GPU, and NPU performance. The Phone 3 is expected to be a true flagship device, designed for sustained daily use, offering a balanced and comprehensive user experience. Production will take place at Nothing’s partner facility in Chennai, India. Rumors suggest a possible redesign, potentially omitting the company’s iconic glyph backplate. Leaked specifications point to a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a 120 Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 3,000 nits. A 5,500 mAh battery is anticipated, although the charging adapter may not be included. The phone is rumored to feature multiple rear cameras and a front camera, with an expected price exceeding Rs 50,000 in India, placing it in the premium flagship category.
