OPPO is preparing to launch the Reno 14 and Reno 14 Pro smartphones in India during the first week of July. These new models promise significant upgrades over the Reno 13 series, particularly in display quality, camera capabilities, and battery life. Camera performance continues to be a key focus for the Reno series, and the new models will emphasize this. The pricing in India is expected to be close to the Chinese market prices. The Reno 13 series was priced at Rs 37,999 and Rs 49,999 for the standard and Pro models, respectively. The Reno 14 is expected to cost around Rs 33,600 in China, while the Reno 14 Pro might start around Rs 42,000. Indian prices may vary slightly due to storage options and launch offers. The Reno 14 is rumored to have a 6.59-inch Full HD+ screen with a 120 Hz refresh rate and Crystal Shield Glass. The Pro model could sport a larger 6.83-inch display with a 120 Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 1,200 nits. Both models are expected to showcase a refined, premium design. The Reno 14 might be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8350 chipset, while the Reno 14 Pro could feature the more powerful Dimensity 8450. Both models may offer up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 3.1 internal storage. Both phones may feature 50 MP camera sensors. The Reno 14 could include a triple rear camera setup with a 50MP main camera with OIS, a 50MP telephoto lens, an 8MP ultrawide lens, and a 50MP selfie camera. The Reno 14 Pro might upgrade the telephoto lens to a 50 MP periscope lens with 3.5x optical zoom, with an additional 50 MP ultrawide sensor. The Reno 14 may pack a 6,000 mAh battery with 80 W fast charging. The Pro model could improve this with a 6,200 mAh battery. Both phones are designed to offer extended battery life for heavy users.
