A new Vande Bharat Express train connecting Bihar and eastern Uttar Pradesh has been flagged off. This train will operate between Patliputra railway station in Patna and Gorakhpur in Uttar Pradesh. This is the 71st Vande Bharat train in the country. The train will run at a speed of 110 kmph, with plans to increase the speed later. Passengers can start travelling on this train from June 22nd.
The train will have 9 stops between Patliputra and Gorakhpur, including Hajipur, Muzaffarpur, Bapudham, Motihari, Sagauli, Bettiah, Narkatiaganj, Bagaha, and Kaptanganj. The minimum fare for the AC chair car from Patliputra to Gorakhpur is set at Rs 925, while the executive class fare is Rs 1820.
The train will operate six days a week, excluding Saturdays. It will depart from Gorakhpur railway station at 5:40 am and reach Patliputra railway station at 12:45 pm. In the return direction, the train will depart from Patliputra station at 3:30 pm and reach Gorakhpur at 11:30 pm.
