The 11th International Yoga Day is being celebrated on June 21st, with the theme “Yoga for One Earth, One Health.” Prime Minister Narendra Modi is participating in the main event in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh. The event in Visakhapatnam is expected to draw nearly 5 lakh participants who will gather along a 26-kilometer stretch from Ramakrishna Beach. Union Home Minister Amit Shah is attending a yoga demonstration at Adalaj Vav stepwell near Ahmedabad, Gujarat. The Andhra Pradesh government announced that over 2 crore people across the state will participate in various yoga events today, with an attempt to set a Guinness World Record by distributing over 50 lakh yoga certificates.
