Union Home Minister Amit Shah has announced a firm deadline for the complete eradication of Naxalism in Chhattisgarh, setting the date as March 31, 2026. Shah emphasized that anti-Naxal operations will continue with full force, even during the monsoon season. The government, under the leadership of Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai and Home Minister Vijay Sharma, has been actively accelerating operations in the state. Shah appealed to the youth to lay down their arms and trust the government, highlighting the attractive surrender policy and offering rehabilitation assistance. Additionally, the foundation of the National Forensic Science University and a Central Forensic Lab in Nava Raipur was laid, along with the launch of ‘iHub’ to support startups, providing technical and financial aid to young entrepreneurs. Shah encouraged the youth of Chhattisgarh to become industrialists and lead the state’s industrial revolution.
