Rumors are swirling about Apple’s upcoming iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max models, with a significant potential upgrade being a vapor chamber cooling system. Leaks suggest these iPhones may adopt this technology, already utilized in Android flagships like the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra. A leaked image of a copper thermal plate, shared by leaker Majin Bu, fuels speculation that Apple is introducing this cooling solution for the first time in its devices. Vapor chamber cooling could significantly improve thermal management, preventing overheating during resource-intensive tasks such as gaming, video editing, and extended video calls. This could prevent performance throttling, a common issue with devices that get too hot. Other anticipated features include a 24MP front camera, triple 48MP rear cameras, 8K video recording, slimmer bezels, and a new aluminum frame. The iPhone 17 lineup is expected to launch in September 2025, with pricing in India potentially starting around ₹79,999 for the base model.
