Google has introduced its AI-driven Search feature, dubbed AI Mode, in India. This experimental tool allows users to pose complex questions and receive comprehensive answers synthesized from web results, real-time data, and contextual information. Initially tested in the United States, the feature is now accessible within Google Labs in India and currently supports English. This new mode leverages a custom version of Gemini 2.5, Google’s proprietary language model, designed to streamline the search process. Instead of conducting multiple searches, users can now formulate detailed queries and receive a consolidated response, effectively breaking down complex questions for a more user-friendly experience. The functionality also extends to voice and image inputs, providing versatility in how users interact with the search feature. Available from June 24, 2025, users can access this feature through the Google app or the dedicated Labs website.
