The Chhattisgarh government has initiated a significant move to bolster educational resources for the state’s youth. The Urban Administration Department has sanctioned ₹114 crore for the establishment of 18 central libraries. These libraries will be set up in various cities, including Sukma, Dantewada, Surajpur, Baikunthpur, and Chirmiri. These facilities will serve as central libraries and reading zones across 17 urban bodies, offering a conducive environment for young people preparing for competitive examinations. The project aims to provide access to essential resources and create a learning environment. Deputy Chief Minister Arun Sao approved the funds, which were then communicated to departmental officials via a circular.
