Iran has announced the execution of three individuals convicted of espionage on behalf of Israel, marking a significant development a day after a truce was reportedly established between the two nations. The executions took place in Urmia, Iran, following the upholding of their death sentences by the Iranian Supreme Court. The executed individuals were identified as Idris Aali, Azad Shojaei, and Rasoul Ahmad. The charges against the men included collaborating with Israel’s Mossad spy agency, as well as smuggling explosives and demolition charges with the intention of assassinating prominent Iranian figures. In addition to the executions, Iran has reported the arrest of approximately 700 individuals suspected of ties to Israel in recent weeks amid ongoing conflicts. The security agencies have also reportedly dismantled several underground drone facilities allegedly operated by Mossad agents in Tehran and other cities.
