The Academy announced the new invitees on June 26 via its official website and social media. Other notable figures invited include Ariana Grande, Jason Momoa, and Jeremy Strong. Additional Indian invitees include casting director Karan Mally, cinematographer Ranabir Das, and filmmaker Payal Kapadia. The Academy also invited entertainment industry professionals like Jimmy Kimmel and Conan O’Brien.
