Congress leader Kanhaiya Kumar has stated that if the Grand Alliance secures a majority in the upcoming Bihar assembly elections, the Chief Minister will be from the RJD. He clarified that there is no confusion regarding Tejashwi Yadav being the CM face. Kumar accused the ruling party of attempting to divert attention by focusing on the CM face. He also claimed that the BJP would remove Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and replace him with a BJP leader, alleging that the BJP follows a pattern of initially supporting regional parties and then absorbing them. Kumar emphasized that the party with the most MLAs in the Grand Alliance would produce the Chief Minister, and since the RJD is the largest party, the CM would be from their ranks. He compared the Grand Alliance to a car, highlighting the importance of each party’s role, similar to the clutch, brakes, and rearview mirror. Kumar also criticized Amit Shah, accusing him of seeking opportunities in crises, similar to his actions in Maharashtra, and alleged that the current state government is being run in a dictatorial manner by bureaucrats.
