The center, inaugurated by Mr. Bejoy Changarath, Unit Head – Sales & Marketing, is designed to offer immediate medical assistance to the vast number of devotees and visitors expected to attend the chariot festival. The facility will be operational for ten days, extending through Bahuda Yatra. It’s fully equipped to handle a range of health issues, staffed by experienced medical professionals, and includes a 5G-enabled ambulance with advanced telemedicine capabilities to ensure rapid response and transport for critical cases. This initiative highlights Manipal Hospital’s dedication to providing accessible, on-the-ground healthcare during major public events.
