A horrific road accident occurred on the Benagabad-Giridih main road near Damodardih late Tuesday night. A speeding truck collided with a Swift car, resulting in the deaths of three young men at the scene. Two women sustained serious injuries. The car was completely wrecked. The truck driver fled the scene after abandoning the vehicle at a petrol pump. Police have taken possession of the truck and are investigating the incident. The victims were returning home from a religious gathering in Mahuar village when the accident took place.
