A 46-year-old man has been apprehended by authorities following accusations of raping a 10-year-old girl. The incident occurred in Sector 52, where both the accused and the victim reside. The girl’s parents were away at work when the assault allegedly took place. According to reports, the girl was alone at home on Sunday afternoon when the incident occurred. At approximately 5 pm, she contacted her mother, reporting that the accused, who lives in the apartment above, had entered her home, restrained her, and committed the act before leaving. The girl’s mother immediately alerted her husband and rushed back home. Upon arrival, they found the girl in a distressed state. The parents promptly filed a complaint, leading to the man’s arrest. The police confirmed the arrest and subsequent court proceedings. The family reported that the girl is now traumatized and has expressed reluctance to attend school.
