A skydiving aircraft carrying 15 people crashed after overrunning the runway during takeoff at Cross Keys Airport in Monroe Township, New Jersey, on Wednesday evening. Officials confirmed the incident, which occurred around 5:30 p.m. local time. The U.S. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) reported that the Cessna 208B aircraft was involved. The aircraft was being used for skydiving activities when the crash happened. Emergency services responded to what was described as a “mass casualty incident.” Five injured individuals were expected to be transported to Cooper University Hospital in Camden.
