Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways, Nitin Gadkari, has arrived in Ranchi. He was greeted at the airport by the Minister of State for Defence and Ranchi MP, Sanjay Seth, who presented him with a shawl. BJP state president Babulal Marandi was also present. Gadkari will depart for Garhwa from Ranchi Airport.
He is scheduled to inaugurate the Ratu Road Elevated Corridor around 3 PM. Before the inauguration, Gadkari will visit the Birsa Munda statue at Birsa Chowk to offer his respects. Following the inauguration, a motorcycle rally will lead to the OTC ground, where the minister will address a gathering. Gadkari is also set to lay the foundation stones for NH projects in Jharkhand. Senior NHAI officials will be present at the event, which will also include a review of the flyover. The minister will then proceed to Hotel Radisson Blu for a meeting with officials to review NH projects and provide necessary guidance on transport-related issues. He will leave for the airport at 6:45 PM.
