Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini announced that the state government is in talks with the Disney Company to establish a major amusement park in the state. The project is planned for Manesar, with approximately 500 acres of land near Pachgaon Chowk identified as the potential site. The Chief Minister shared this information following a meeting with Union Culture and Tourism Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat. The proposed Disney park aims to stimulate regional tourism and bring about significant economic changes. It is projected to generate thousands of direct and indirect employment opportunities and attract international visitors. Gurugram was selected for its strong economic importance and robust infrastructure. In addition to the Disney park, the Haryana government is also planning to enhance the International Gita Mahotsav in Kurukshetra and is considering holding the Surajkund fair three times a year.
